SOLD74 Tallulah - Home Is Where The Hound Is SIZE :
houndSOLD : £ 500
Hello, my name is Tallulah!
If you think that's a posh name for a hound, how about Twiglish Tallulia, my racing name!!
Let me explain....I'm an ex-racing greyhound, retired, and loving it!
I live in Grayswood with my Mum & Dad.
I'm so lucky to have found my forever home, not all greyhounds are so fortunate once they finish racing.
The lucky hounds come to a re-homing kennel, run by a charity such as the RGT (Retired Greyhound Trust) or Celia Cross Greyhound Trust.
These people work their socks off, looking after us, and trying to find us new homes.
Although we've never lived in a real house before, it doesn't take us long to settle in, grab a seat on the sofa and CHILL.
So, if you are considering getting a hound one day, PLEASE think about a greyhound like me.
We're super clean, gentle, loving, and only need two 20 minute walks a day.
I'm going to be in Haslemere all summer, meeting lots of people hopefully, sitting outside OLIVERS CAFE in Charter Walk.
Come and see me, and any donations that you can spare please pop in the Celia Cross collection pot on the cafe counter.
I'll make sure they all go to help other hounds at Celia Cross, and don't forget....'Home is where the (grey)hound is'.
much love, Tallulah xxxSPONSORED by : Sylvia Griffin
ARTIST DETAILS :Gina Marjoram-Taylor
have taught all abilities and levels for over 25 years from nursery schools to nursing homes mainly focusing on GCSE, A level and degree level. Passionate about art and textiles I believe that given the right tools, everyone can draw and create. My desire is to share the joy of art and textiles as widely as possible. No experience is necessary and there are no age limits. I offer personal tuition on a 1-to-1 basis (including tutoring for GCSE and A level) and teach small groups at my home in Grayswood. The classes cost £15 per 2 hour session. Materials are provided initially with students acquiring their chosen media as the group develops. Classes are taught drawing skills using tone then a range of media is gradually introduced enabling students to develop their expertise and learn specific techniques. Students are introduced to watercolours, acrylics, oil paints, acrylic inks, charcoal, pen and ink, oil pastel, chalk pastel and mixed media and then given topics to explore. Ideas are discussed and expanded. To enhance learning and provide inspiration, visits to London Art Exhibitions are arranged. Additionally, I organise some day courses during which experts teach alternative skills. This year some students are attending a 3 day sculpture course and a watercolour workshop. I also run courses on machine embroidery and needle felting. In addition, I accept commissions for murals etc.
Please contact me and give it a try. Not only will you learn new skills, it’s also a great way to make new friends.SUPPORTED CHARITY :Celia Cross Greyhound Trust
